Fuji Xerox has been pursuing a path of sustainability in all facets of its operations for many years and their longstanding commitment to environmentally responsible design spans more than three decades.
Every piece of Fuji Xerox Australia equipment from multi function office devices to high volume production presses is designed with the environment in mind.
Environmental initiatives start in the design stage of product development and incorporate life cycle planning and use of technologies that
- Eliminate the need to use hazardous materials such as lead based solder
- Enable low energy consumption during use of the machine
- Utilise innovative and energy efficient toner and ink technologies
- Minimise the use of new resources
- Will later facilitate the remanufacture and recycling of used machines and parts
Fuji Xerox products have won the Japan Energy Conservation awards for eleven consecutive years – and Fuji Xerox remains the only company in our industry to have been awarded on such a consistent basis.
The Fuji Xerox Business centre Tasmania is proud to be associated with these products and as a participant in the Fuji Xerox Dealer Sustainability Program we are doing our bit at the local level to live up to the high standards set by the Fuji Xerox Corporation.
In 2010 we were awarded as the overall winner of the 2009/2010 Fuji Xerox Dealer Sustainability program for Australia for the work we have done in minimising waste to landfill, and recycling of parts, consumables, and End Of Life hardware.
